Running from Mexico to Canada through California, Oregon and Washington, the 2665 mile PCT meanders from the SoCal desert to the Alpine Mountains in Yosemite to the rainy forests in the North Cascades. We're attempting to thru-hike the PCT during the small window of time that the entire trail is typically passable from May-October. Though a seemingly huge undertaking and perhaps a bit out of the ordinary, it's just walking after all.

Leaving Lancaster walking along the Aquaduct at sunset. If only it was always this temperature.
Hey Drew! Have you reached mojave and become nocturnal yet haha? You are very close to Melissa's hometown/where I worked for LBLP last summer so I know how hot it must be out there! thanks for all the updates and providing me with a little escape from Chicopee through the photos. Keep on trekking guys!!
Thanks for sending a message Rita. I saw a sign to Bakersfield the other day and thought about you. The heat is supposed to go back to normal today from 60s to 90s. Should make it very intersting. I hope you are doing well. Talk you later.
